Join us for our annual Harvesting Hope: Healing Begins with US mental health fundraiser, an inspiring evening dedicated to supporting teen mental health counseling. This special event will bring our community together to foster awareness, provide resources, and spark change for the young people who need it most.
Event includes local restaurants heavy hors d’oeuvres, wine, entertainment, music, silent auction, raffles and engaging opportunities to learn more about our mental health assistance mission. Harvesting Hope promises a warm and uplifting atmosphere. Together, we can cultivate resilience and plant the seeds for brighter futures.
Proceeds go towards mental health initiatives and the Troy Kiwanis KIT (Kiwanis Inspired Teens) Fund. The KIT fund provides mental health counseling financial assistance funds for youth needing counseling but can’t afford sessions. (Due to lack of insurance, low-income, or other means.)
When we replace the “i” in mental illness to “we” – it becomes mental wellness.
At our meeting today, we recognized our outstanding volunteer - Judy Holmes - who assembles our fundraiser raffle baskets each year and does so much for our club to help students.
We were pleased also to have Dr. Rich Machesky - Troy School District Superintendent speak on several topics: ✅️ The current bond school progress in Troy schools. ✅️ The Oakland County Regional Enhancement Millage Proposal that will be voted on August 4. The regional enhancement millage is the only mechanism school districts may use to increase per-pupil funding. Make sure to vote if you live in Oakland County on August 4!! www.OaklandEnhancementMillage.com If passed - every penny generated would be distributed to all public-school districts and eligible public-school academies in Oakland County
You are in the trenches every day helping our Troy Kiwanis Foundation KIT Fund referrals and we are ever so grateful for your steadying compassion and guidance in helping teens recover from their trauma and mental health issues.
❤️❤️ YOU ARE OUR HEROES for kids in the midst of turbulent times! ❤️ ❤️ You are impacting so many lives for the better!
