"Mental Health Is Not Scary" event was a hit at Lillybrook Counseling Services on October 3. Funds raised were directed toward the Troy Kiwanis Foundation KIT Fund. Last night we were able to attend the annual Troy Charity Night put on by the Troy Community Foundation. A new endowment fund was established in honor of one of our past Troy Kiwanis members - Doug Tietz.
Congratulations on this new fund that will help Troy students in their career paths. Former Troy mayor Dane Slater assisted with a donation to the fund to reach its $10,000 startup. Troy Community Foundation Legacy Award. Doug received a tribute issued plaque from MI State Senator Michael Webber.
