We would like to thank Fittfreddie Foundation and Cathi Hardy for presenting a check to the Troy Kiwanis Foundation KIT (Kiwanis Inspired Teens) Fund earlier this month. The KIT Fund enables youth needing mental health counseling but don't have insurance +/or low income to obtain funding to improve their mental health. The FittFreddie Foundation has been a great partner in providing funds to help youth receive financial assistance!
A "BIG" thank you to our community for supporting us in the Troy Kiwanis Foundation's KIT Fund mission!! Since the 2025 launch of this KIT Fund, over 150 mental health counseling sessions have been provided to community youth. Thank you to the Troy School District counseling offices for working with Autana Family Therapy Center to create positive changes in these youth's lives! Winning is not all that and neither is losing. It is just the outcome. The Olympics have shown us that mental health should be prioritized. Taking care of your mental health should be a priority. Take breaks and enjoy the breaks and the journey. We love how the most joy and healthy mental outlook was the gold medal winner in the ladies' ice skating Olympics. Alysa Liu is a great example for all youth and others to strive to take mental health seriously. When you do, what are the possibilities that lie ahead for you?
